Aly Viloron was born in a small village Ealdor in the rural part of north-western Quel'thalas. Aly’s parents were herbalists, and she grew up learning about the plants and their healing properties.

As she grew older, Aly realized she had a natural talent for herbalism and decided to dedicate her life to it.After completing her secondary education, Aly decided to follow in her parents’ footsteps and become a herbalist.

She settled in the capital of the kingdom and opened a small shop there, where she sold herbal medicines that her mother brought to the city.

Aly's life was filled with joy and contentment, until a terrible event changed her life forever. It was like this. The Blade of the Light, an artifact known to cause madness in those who wielded it, was stolen from the Quel'thalas royal archives.

The girl's mother was a witness to the kidnapping. She was carrying a new shipment of herbs to her daughter and saw a group of armed men moving through the forest. They were carrying some kind of heavy object that emitted a radiance. The woman reported this to the authorities. The next day she was kidnapped and killed.

This devastating incident drove Aly into a deep depression. She couldn't work anymore. And she couldn't stay in the city. Aly spent many months wandering the land, lost in her own thoughts.

One day, she came across a group of rangers camped near a nearby stream. The rangers were conducting a search for a missing girl and Aly offered to help. After all, she knew how to read tracks from childhood and was an excellent tracker. Her father taught her this.After a brief discussion, the rangers accepted Aly's offer and she joined their expedition.

Aly was soon able to piece together the missing girl's disappearance and discovered that she had been kidnapped by a group of dark elves. After tracking down the dark elves and rescuing the girl, Aly became close friends with the rangers and decided to stay with them and continue her ranger training.

Aly's current occupation is tracker in the ranger squad for the Quel'thalas Royal Guards. Aly's work motivates her to protect her people and uphold justice, and she takes great pleasure in teaching new recruits the laws and customs of the kingdom.

Aly's best friend is a young noblewoman named Jaina Proudmoore. Aly is also friendly with the ranger captain, Sylvanas Windrunner, and the paladin Ashbringer. Aly's enemy is a group of rogue warlocks known as the Burning Legion. The Legion is responsible for causing Aly's depression, and she has vowed to one day find and defeat them.

Aly's life credo is "seek the light and follow it wherever it leads." Aly's amulet is a beautiful trinket that was once part of her mother's collection. It is said to contain the power to heal any injury, and Aly wears it with pride.

Aly's life-defining event occurred when she recovered the Blade of the Light from the bandits who had killed her mother. The Blade of the Light restored Aly's hope and restored her sense of purpose. Since then, Aly has dedicated her life to protecting Quel'thalas and its people.
