Unfortunately, Majer's earliest memories are of the war that wracked his homeland. Even though Majer was only a child at the time, he vividly remembers the terror and despair that swept the land. It was during this time that Majer's parents met their untimely deaths. Left alone and struggling to survive, Majer did the only thing he could think of - he went to the academy to learn to be a mage.
Majer excelled at his studies, but his focus was always on preparing himself for the coming war. When the war finally came, Majer was ready. He fought with distinction, using his magic to devastating effect. However, the war was a bloody and prolonged affair and Majer eventually fell victim to the fighting.
He was captured by the enemy and held prisoner for months. By the time he was finally released, Majer was a changed man. His spirit had been broken and he was determined to never let that happen again. He left the army and turned his attention to his studies. It was during this time that Majer met his future wife, Eleanora. They hit it off right away and were soon married. Eleanora was the stabilizing force in Majer's life and she helped him to reconnect with his emotions.
They had a daughter together and, although Majer has never been able to completely erase the memories of the war, he has managed to build a new life for himself and his family. Majer continues to use his magic to help people in need, but he remains ever vigilant for the chance to reconquer Ero.
In his free time, Majer likes to explore the many temples and ruins. He also enjoys reading ancient texts and learning new magic spells. Majer is a loyal friend and a fierce opponent, and he always puts the safety of his friends and loved ones above all else. He's also a devout believer in the goddess Hylia, and he serves her faithfully.
Majer's symbol is a symbol of balance - it's a stylized representation of the goddess Hylia's shield, which defends the kingdom from harm.
