Sogrol Vesk was born in the kingdom of Caladon. He was one of five children, the son of a soldier. His family was very patriotic, and from a young age Sogrol was instilled with the belief that he was destined to serve his kingdom. He was passionate about art and spent most of his time doing magic.
He developed the ability to create a protective field around himself against telepathic, psionic, physical and other types of attacks. He also tamed a flock of war crows that had steel beaks and claws. The crows were devoted to the young man and flocked to him at his first signal.
When Sogrol was 18 years old, he joined the army to fight in the War of Liberation. He fought bravely and quickly moved up the ranks. In the end, he was given command of a detachment of soldiers.
After the War of Liberation was won, Sogrol returned home to Kaladon. He was hailed as a hero, and was awarded the prestigious title of Lieutenant General. Sogrol settled down and started a family. He was happy and his life was peaceful.
But after 5 the kingdom of Caladon was captured by a powerful clan of dark magicians. The army of Caladon was defeated. Sogrol was among the thousands of warriors taken prisoner. For two years he did not see the light, being in an underground prison. For two years he hatched an escape plan.
Finally, the captives decided to rebel, as a result of which they managed to disarm the guards and break free. They decided to lie low and gather strength to liberate the country. Sogrol understood that a small band of former captives would not be able to withstand a huge army of dark magicians.
He went to the lands of the genies to ask for their protection.The journey took a whole year. But his mission was crowned with success. Sogrol returned to his homeland, led by a large army of fire djinn. A bloody battle took place as a result of which the magicians were utterly defeated. So Sogrol returned home.
Sogrol has since retired from the military and now spends his days practicing magic and spending time with his family. He is happy and content and never once looked back with regret at the years spent in captivity.
