Foktas Gudrak was born in a wealthy family in the distant city of Llanot in the Kingdom of Roven. His parents, Percival and Saskia Gudrak, were both merchants in the city and made sure that their son was well educated from a young age. Foktas was an eager student, quick to learn and eager to explore the world beyond Llanot's walls.

In his early adulthood, Foktas left the city and became an itinerant trader. He traveled far and wide, trading goods between distant cities and learning about their cultures. Foktas developed a reputation as an honest and reliable trader and earned the respect of many of the people he encountered.

Foktas currently makes his living as a wandering merchant, selling his wares at markets and fairs throughout the kingdom. He is motivated by a desire for knowledge and a curiosity about the world around him. He is willing to take risks in order to acquire rare and powerful items, but he also exercises extreme caution when dealing with these items.

Despite his friendly demeanor and good nature, Foktas has many enemies. His success is viewed with envy and suspicion by others, and he has been targeted by criminals and unscrupulous people seeking to steal his merchandise.

Foktas wears a medallion around his neck, a symbol of his travels and of his commitment to the pursuit of knowledge. He keeps many secrets of the places he has visited, and his medallion serves as a reminder that he must keep these secrets safe. He never shows the medallion to other people.

Foktas has one great regret in his life – the death of his beloved Saskia. He blames himself for her death, and he still feels the pain of her loss keenly. Despite this, he carries on, determined to make the most of the life he has left.
