Brord was a goblin born in the city of Zalar. He was the illegitimate child of a human and a goblin. His mother died when he was young and his father never really cared for him, leaving him to the care of his grandfather. The old goblin treated Brord horribly, often beating him and making him work long hours in the mines. But through it all, Brord retained a sense of humor and always managed to find a way to have fun.

When Brord was a young adult, he was discovered by the city watch. They were impressed by his agility and quick thinking and offered him a position as a guard. Brord was happy to finally have a chance to earn a living and worked hard to make a name for himself. He soon became one of the most respected members of the watch and was able to provide for his family.

As Brord got older, he began to develop a sense of morality and responsibility. He became more concerned with the well-being of his fellow citizens and became passionate about his work. He was also able to develop a deep friendship with his best friend, a human named Garen.

One day, while on patrol, Brord encounter a band of bandits. Without hesitation, he stormed into the gathering and quickly dispatched the intruders. He was hailed as a hero and was soon offered a position as Captain of the city watch.

As Captain, Brord was able to make a real difference in the lives of his people. He was also able to find love again, this time with a human woman named Elana. Together, they had a daughter and they were happy.

But tragedy would soon strike. When Elana was pregnant with their second child, she was attacked by a group of trolls. She was badly injured and she died as a result. Brord was devastated by her death and he struggled to cope with it. He was also worried about the well-being of his daughter.

But through it all, Brord never gave up on his dreams or his sense of justice. He continued to serve his city as Captain and was eventually able to put the events of that fateful day behind him.
