varan Holagolor is a male elf. He belongs to a rare category of elves who have striking beauty and long ears. His unusual family origin is traced back to his great-great-grandfather, who was renowned as a legendary warrior among the tribe of elven soldiers.
Ivaran's early life was marked by military training, and he excelled in combat techniques. However, when he was sixteen, his father was killed in a battle against the trolls.
Ivaran's childhood trauma had broken him inside, and he became distant and unemotional. Through later development, he devoted his entire life to becoming a warrior and vowed to protect his fellow elves from threats and enemies. Ivaran's motives for work stem from his desire to bring honor to his family name and tribe.
While he has no time for romance, his family began pressuring him to marry and eventually, he was to marry an elf called Celai.
Ivaran has a deep bond with his siblings, who have many personality traits in common, including loyalty and bravery. However, due to his traumatic childhood, he has a reserved personality and dislikes being emotionally expressive.
This inward-focused personality is demonstrated by his life credo: "A true warrior does not need external reasons to attain glory, for it should come from within."
The life-defining event in Ivaran's life took place during the great war between and orcs and elves where his tribe suffered severely from losses at the hands of orc commander Horrog-Tar, who had acquired the tomes of the Krakens.
In the heat of the fire edge battle, after losing more than half his companions Ivaran much to his despair gets blinded and screams "Light abandoned me, and now you shall see no mercy!" This leads him into a fierce rage battle, and single-handedly raises the spirits of his allies, leading his army into victory against the commander and the pack of orcs.
He later earned the nickname "The Blind Fighter" which he was initially indifferent, but life events made him embrace fully.
Ivaran's flaw is that he judges people based on their merit as soldiers and warriors, putting all other ranks and professions beneath him.
His hobby is practising martial arts and teaching young elven soldiers. While his mannerisms are that of a reserved, cold leader.
Health issues are scarce in Ivaran's life, and the only scars he bears are the physical and emotional ones left by his previous battles.
The symbol that represents him is a ruby ring he inherited from his mother believe to hold clues of a hidden dark magic that could doom the world.
Whether or not Ivaran is cursed, feared or blessed is open for debate. Yet, considering his unwavering resolve, uncanny skill and resolve always aiming for brighter tomorrows would argue against the notion that he suffers from curse or carries blessings.
