As a young adult, Bolnard joined the king's army and fought in many battles against the forces of Garen, the tyrannical king of Veldaren. After years of bloodshed, Bolnard emerged victorious and earned the title of "the mightiest soldier in Veldaren."

Years later, Bolnard left Veldaren to pursue a quest to find a legendary item known as the Staff of Kings. Along the way, Bolnard met several helpful adventurers, including a dwarf named Glint. After completing his quest, Bolnard returned home to find that Veldaren was in shambles. The king had been killed, and the kingdom was ruled by Garen's evil son, Toribar.

Bolnard fought Toribar, eventually defeating and restoring peace. Bolnard now spends his time aiding the people of Veldaren, and training new paladins. He is also friends with a group of adventurers, who often visit Veldaren to challenge dangerous quests.

In his free time, Bolnard enjoys spending time with his son, sparring with him in the training grounds, and fishing in the rivers near his home.

Bolnard believes in standing up for what is right, and will do anything to protect his kingdom and people. He is a devout follower of the goddess Lathander, and holds deep religious convictions.

Bolnard's life motto is "Strength through unity." His symbol is a shield shaped like a flower, and he often wears armor that is decorated with this symbol. Bolnard is a kind and patient man, whovalues the people he loves and respects the law. He is also very brave and seldom afraid to face danger head-on.
