Artof is a male beastman native to the secluded forest lands of the Sunken Isles. A direct descendant of the legendary horned warrior, Eryndor, Artof has always felt the weight of his family's legacy on his shoulders.
As a youth, Artof was a rambunctious and adventurous child, often sneaking out of his parent's den to explore the wilderness. He quickly made friends with a nearby pack of wolves, who taught him the ways of the wild and became his lifelong companions.
Despite not receiving formal education or training, Artof became learned in the art of tracking and hunting, skills that proved invaluable on his travels beyond the Isles. He gained further knowledge traveling with a group of elven traders, who taught him the ways of human society and healing arts.
Artof now serves as a traveling companion for a young human mage, whom he met by chance on one of his many journeys. His motivation is simple - to see and experience as much of the world as possible before returning to the forest.
His best friend is his bonded wolf, Kith, who has been by his side since childhood. Artof's life creed is to always remain true to himself and his values, no matter the circumstances.
Artof has achieved notoriety as a skilled warrior and tracker, earning the moniker "The Horned Tracker". His title, however, is a humble one - simply "traveler".
In his spare time, Artof enjoys whittling wooden figurines and practicing his archery. He is also known to have a penchant for storytelling, often regaling those around him with tales of his adventures.
Despite his fearsome appearance, there is a certain mystery to Artof, an air of mysticism that surrounds him. Whether it be the antlers that adorn his head or the scars that crisscross his body, there is an intangible quality that draws others to him.
Artof has no known health problems and leads a highly active lifestyle. He is in excellent physical shape and shows no signs of slowing down, despite his advancing age.
As a traveler, Artof has seen much of the world, but his wanderlust continues to burn bright. He is always eager to see what lies beyond the next horizon, and is quick to lend aid to those in need along the way.
