Dofur Zleurim was born in a small rural town northeast of the city of Salador. His parents were farmers and he grew up working on the family farm. He was a kind and good-hearted young man, and his family was very proud of him.
Dofur always had a love for learning, and he studied hard at the local academy. He was particularly interested in history and myths, and he became a very skilled sage. He also enjoyed wandering the country and exploring the many local caves and forests.
In his late twenties, Dofur met a knight named Eben. Eben was on a pilgrimage to find a holy relic known as the Orb of the Three Moons, and he was looking for someone to help him find it. Dofur was intrigued by Eben's quest and decided to join him.
The two of them traveled together for several years, exploring many dangerous caves and battling monsters in search of the Orb. Eventually, they reached the holy city of Majere and finally obtained the Orb.
Afterwards, Dofur and Eben parted ways. Dofur returned home to Salador, where he continued to teach and write poems. He was a respected sage and sage-king, and he enjoyed spending his time learning and exploring new things.
Dofur married his second cousin Irava. He did not have special feelings for the girl, but he really wanted to start a family and decided that Irava would be a good wife and mother. And so it happened. Over time, Dofur became attached to his wife. And he became truly happy only when his only beloved daughter Eliya was born.
Now Elia is a travel writer and adventurer, just like her father. She has followed in his footsteps, becoming a skilled sage and explorer.
Outwardly, Dofur is a typical dwarf, a small bearded fat man. His wife often calls him a DONUT. This nickname stuck to him also because his favorite dish is donuts with jam. He has a habit of humming something funny under his breath when he's working or just wants to focus on something important.
Dofur's life motto is "be kind, be true, and always fight for the right thing." He believes that the best way to achieve happiness is to do what makes you happy, and to live life to the fullest.
Dofur wears an amulet that he found while exploring a cave. The amulet is a symbol of his faith in the god Moradin, and it gives him strength and guidance in times of need.
Dofur is well-known for his famous quote, "The hours spent on earth are but a drop in the ocean of eternity."
