Miela Grenorea was born in the forest city of Valenway, deep within the heart of the Elvish kingdom. Her parents were both esteemed scholars, with a strong passion for Elvish lore and ancient texts. Her father was a professor at the local university, while her mother worked in one of the most esteemed libraries in Valenway.
Growing up, Miela was a keen student, always eager to learn more about her people's past and culture. She spent long hours in her mother's library or listening to her father's lectures. But Miela formed a special bond with her childhood friend, an orphaned Elvish boy named Daeron.
They were inseparable, spending nearly every moment together. When Daeron went away to study fighting techniques in a nearby city, Miela accommodated by persuading her father and also joined the university. While studying, she found herself climbing higher and higher in their sparring classes, soon developing a marked reputation as a deft fighter.
However, her childhood friend Daeron's death left her severely traumatized. She became cold and distant, detaching from her studies and friends. For years, she struggled with grief, anger, and a complete lack of interest in life. It wasn't until years later that she emerged, turning to her warrior studies with a newfound vigor.
Today, Miela is a successful warrior, fiercely proud of her Elvish heritage and dedicated to becoming one of the foremost defenders of Valenway. She is renowned throughout the kingdom for her combat prowess, and wizards old and young seek her out both for strength and guidance on the battlefield.
Miela lives by the credo that everything we do must be meaningful and worthwhile or else there's no point in living- nothing truly matters if we haven't put in everything we have.
She is known to seek out adventure at every turn and has always been willing to accept any challenge that might cross her path. She refuses to let her past define her and is always working hard to show the world what she is truly capable of accomplishing.
Miela's life-defining moment happened several years ago; a band of bandits raided her home region in the middle of the night. The people were caught unaware, but Miela rallied her fellow warriors and mounted a fierce counter-attack. With her combat skills and quick-thinking, she prevented heavy casualties and drove the bandits back into the forest. Though she did suffer injuries, it gave her the confidence that she could be a tremendous help during a war.
Finally, Miela's talent is that she possesses keen senses of sound and vision. She often claims that these acute abilities help her better perceive and respond to threats, giving that she can hear and see warning signs seconds sooner than others usually could.
Her famous quote rings loud and true in the folklores across Valenway, "The strength necessary to fight and win doesn't originate into the muscle but the will."
