Aso Seido Moze cuts an imposing, vast figure, with his weathered face framed by long seafoam white hair that flows like milky waves down his broad back. His eyes are a vibrant aquamarine, seeming to contain the fathomless depths of the ocean itself. Aso is centuries old - a demigod offspring of the Sea God Posedon and a human woman named Alamo, the beautiful ruler of the Semida Islands.
Alamo's reign over the Semida archipelago was an era of peace and prosperity until Posedon himself was entranced by her legendary beauty. The god emerged from the waves and took Alamo by force, imprisoning her for a decade as his prisoner and concubine in his secret undersea palace in the Marna Trench. She endured in misery, far from the shores she loved, until finally escaping while heavy with Posedon's children.
Against all odds, Alamo miraculously gave birth to ten sons, each marked with their divine heritage. But in the remote islands, their mixed demigod blood made them objects of fear and persecution by the superstitious people. When the millennial War of the Giants ravaged the lands with its horror and chaos, Alamo's own subjects turned on the children, slaying nine of them in a frenzy of violence. Only Aso survived, his nascent powers over the seas allowing him to escape by breathing underwater and controlling the currents.
From an early age, the teenage Aso felt more at home in the emerald embrace of the ocean than on land or among his traitorous kin. He can breathe both air and water, his body equally adapted to both environments. His burgeoning magical abilities allow him to control the tides, summon mighty storms, and even take on a merman-like form with a powerful tail and webbed hands and feet.
But the divine blood of Posedon coursing through his veins did not spare Aso from a life of hardship and drifting. Rejecting the land which rejected him, he fell into the company of pirates, lending his powers to their pillaging raids on ships and coastal towns in exchange for safe harbor. His combat prowess and control over the seas made him an invaluable asset.
Over the decades his grew into a towering man of 7 feet, his body covered in sailor's tattoos and scars from countless battles. He became a feared and renowned figure, his name Aso Seido Moze (meaning "Hellish Sea Demon" in Semidan) uttered in dread from Semida to the vast Karmazin Sea where he now roams. Able to breath endless rages of storms into being with his raw power, few pirates dare cross his path.
