Advar Silverbash was born to a pirate family on the high seas. He spent his childhood on a remote island among sailors and pirates.From a young age, he was taught the art of swordfighting and navigation. He quickly gained a reputation as a skilled fighter and navigator.
He was loved spending his free time sailing around the islands on your boat. When he was sixteen, he, along with his parents, went on a pirate ship to drift near the mainland in search of easy prey. Suddenly the weather worsened. A storm has begun. The ship hit the reefs and crashed. His parents are dead. And he struggled to get ashore. He was the only survivor, and was stranded on the mainland.
He started out as a homeless child, scavenging and stealing to get by. It was during this time that he met a woman named Estrella. Estrella was a priestess of a powerful goddess, and she took pity on Advar. She taught him how to read and write, and helped him find a job.
He started working as a scribe for a magistrate. It was during this time that he met Elissa, the magistrate's daughter. They fell in love, and Advar married her. They had two children together. But Advar's heart was always in the sea.
He hated being stuck on the mainland, and dreamed on the free way of life. One day, he received a letter from his cousin brother. His brother was now the captain of a merchant ship, and he was heading back to the native island.
Advar wanted to go with him, but Elissa refused to let him go. She said that he had to stay and take care of the children. Advar didn't have a choice.
He spent the next few years working hard to support his family. But he couldn't help feeling restless. One day, Elissa discovered that Advar was plotting to leave. Furious, she took the children and left him. Advar was heartbroken. He loved Elissa, but he couldn't stomach the thought of living without the sea.
So he left his family and started a new life as a pirate. He uses his skills as a scribe to plan and execute raids, and he enjoys the thrill of the chase. He's always looking for new opportunities to rob and plunder, and he'll do whatever it takes to get what he wants. His main enemies are the merchant ships, because they represent everything that Advar hates - order and stability.
Advar wears a necklace made from the teeth of a pirate he killed, in hope of bringing him luck in battle. His distinguishing feature is also a magical sign tattooed on his forehead.
He doesn't care about the laws of magic, or the prophecies that talk about the end of the world. All he wants is to plunder and pillage until he's rich and famous. But he knows that his days are numbered. One day, he'll be killed in one of his raids, and he'll finally be able to rest in peace.
