Pulwha was born to a big gnomish family in the mountainous region of the central highlands. As a youngster, he loved nothing more than to wander the forests and fields, exploring and playing games with his friends. He also liked to play pranks. He was often beaten by his older brothers for the tricks he played on them. He managed to steal hot cakes from the kitchen under his mother's nose or keep a stray dog ​​under the bed for a week without anyone knowing about it.

One day a traveling troupe of circus performers arrived in the city. These were extraordinary artists. They all wielded magic. The mistress of the circus was a sorceress named Karnilla. Pulwha, of course, came to the performance along with his parents and brothers. He was mesmerized by the amazing sight. At the end of the performance, Cornilla said that her troupe had been entertaining the audience all evening, and now she wants to see which of the audience dares to enter the ring to entertain everyone.

10 year old Pulwha came out. He began to dance and make faces so funny that the audience fell into laughter. Cornilla liked the boy. She invited his parents backstage and suggested that they send Pulva to her for training. So Pulva became a circus performer.

Pulwha's life changed forever the day he met Karnilla's acrobat partner, a fierce-looking dwarf named Thurl. Thurl taught Pulwha how to juggle and perform other circus tricks, and the two of them began a lifelong friendship.

Pulwha continued to tour with the circus for many years, performing all over the kingdom. Eventually, Pulwha and Thurl met other members of the circus and formed their own troupe, touring the kingdom and performing for the wealthy and powerful.

One day his troupe arrived in the capital of the influential kingdom of Aberon. Artists performed in the squares. They were enthusiastically received by the crowd of spectators. One of the spectators was the king of Aberon himself, who secretly roamed the city. He was fascinated by the little gnome's performance. He later said that he had never laughed so hard in his life. The king invited our hero to become his court jester.

This proposal promised power and a comfortable existence. Pulva by that time was no longer young. He had long wanted to settle down, buy a house and start a family of his own. After considering the king's proposal, he agreed.

He currently lives in the king's palace and acts as the royal jester. He is adored by members of the royal family and courtiers. But many see him as an intelligent and influential person, so they are afraid.
