A significant figure from Ikvoik’s early life is a towering Elder Tree named Oraclebark, the closest thing to a childhood friend. Communicating in pulses like a heart's beat, the tree shares ancient knowledge, revealing secrets of the jinn bloodline buried beneath the roots of reality. This gnarled tree is not only his mentor, but also a parental figure in absence of a biological family; they watched over Ikvoik, shared unfamiliar tales, and soothed him with a rhythmic rustling lullaby on restless nights.

Feeling the pull of his essence, Ikvoik nurtures his evocative talents, shifting from mere predictions to shaping the course of events.
